Alchemer vs. GetFeedback

Choose survey software that will be there for you

GetFeedback was acquired by SurveyMonkey in late 2019. But SurveyMonkey is now no longer renewing GetFeedback contracts. So, many GetFeedback customers are looking for other options.

This page outlines how GetFeedback compares to Alchemer, an enterprise feedback platform. Considerations include survey flexibility, integrations, and customer support. Be sure to think about these considerations when looking for a GetFeedback alternative.

"GetFeedback is very expensive if you want to have the Salesforce connection. Also, a bit more flexibility on the CTAs and the kind of questions you want to include in your surveys would be much appreciated."

GetFeedback

Top consideration 1: Survey Content ratings

A flexible survey platform works well for any use case: GetFeedback can be limited, with a small set of question types. But Alchemer’s 43 question types enable you to ask the question your way, to get the results you need. Flexible survey software works for Marketing, Product, Digital, and HR teams, not just CX.

“Alchemer’s feature sets, agility, and flexibility remain approachable and incredibly powerful. Overall, with a bit of basic foundational skills, there are seemingly an unlimited number of use cases for which Alchemer can be leveraged.”
— Jonathan E., Director of Digital Strategy

Top consideration 2: User Rating

Survey data where you need it: GetFeedback is known for its native integration with Salesforce which is fine if Salesforce is your CRM. But Alchemer integrates with hundreds of other platforms, delivering data to any system you need. Your survey platform should allow for survey data to appear in whatever business system you use.

Alchemer is surprisingly powerful. Additionally, there is a plethora of integrations with other platforms that make it invaluable. I’ve worked with other survey tools like Qualtrics because my clients used them, but Alchemer is much more straightforward and easy to understand.

Top consideration 3: Phone Support

A great platform also delivers great support: While both GetFeedback and Alchemer offer chat support and 24/7 email support, only Alchemer makes it easy to get answers from a real support professional on the phone. In fact, 80% of the time we pick up the phone within 2 minutes from our Colorado office.

“The best thing about Alchemer is the customer service. They answer the phones and email messages FAST. I literally just asked a question by email and got a response in about 3 minutes. For this issue alone, I’m a loyal customer.”
— Clare M., Small Business Owner

About the Data

The data provided in this comparison report comes from TrustRadius, a peer-to-peer review platform that allows users to compare the best business software and services based on user ratings.

Why Alchemer?

There are more options available to you than just GetFeedback. Step up to Alchemer, with 43 question types, advanced features, integrations to send data to the systems you use, and plenty of support, at a price you can trust.

GetFeedback costs are way too high. Reporting and visualization capabilities are very limited. Another problem is the integration is not that reliable and prone to mistakes. The native integration with the CRM provides data in very unusable way and any sort of aggregation and data wrangling ends up being quite difficult.
Engaging [GetFeedback] support is not super intuitive. They have a weird popup menu on their website and their internal case system does not provide any receipt/confirmation so I’m not sure whether or not my request has been received.
