Why Businesses Connect Alchemer With Marketo
Here are a few ways teams put this automation to work:
- Collect feedback at key funnel stages: Automatically survey leads after demo requests, trial signups, or high-intent form submissions.
- Personalize surveys with Marketo data: Pass campaign name, lead ID, lifecycle stage, or product interest into survey fields.
- Improve campaign performance: Trigger post-webinar or post-campaign surveys to understand what resonated and refine future programs.

How To Set Up the Alchemer + Marketo Integration
Setting this up yourself is pretty quick — and once it’s done, the data flows automatically:
-
Step 1:
Start by creating a new Workflow and select Marketo (Webhook) as the initiator. This tells Alchemer that Marketo activity will trigger the process. -
Step 2:
Alchemer will generate a unique webhook URL. This is the endpoint Marketo will use to send event data. -
Step 3:
In Marketo, add a webhook to a Smart Campaign and choose the activity that should trigger feedback (such as form submission or campaign completion). Paste in the Alchemer webhook URL and set the payload to send relevant lead data. -
Step 4:
Back in Alchemer, map the incoming Marketo fields (like lead ID or campaign name) so you can personalize surveys and route follow-up actions automatically. Once connected, any selected Marketo event can instantly launch a survey or Workflow — helping your team capture insight and act while engagement is high. View setup documentation →
